I played with this band on one of the coolest days of my life. Acts of Sedition (my punk band) was on tour with Surrender (a band comprised of some of my favorite people in life) and we were playing in Portland, OR on 6/13/2007. It also happened that two other tours from the Bay Area were coming through Portland on the same day. So we organized a show in a park with Massive Meat Split (pre-Transient, Jazzy weird metal punk), David Copperfuck, Hey Girl, Les Incompetents, Upshit Creek, and Connie Fucking Francis. A lot of our friends also decided to go traveling around the same time. Basically, Oakland had a party in Portland and it was rad. After the show in the park, we each had our separate shows in the same part of town about 10 blocks away from each other and Red Herring played the show with the above bands. They interested me because they were a punk band without the standard punk instrumentation. And they still killed it. Red Herring involves heavy tuba and banjo usage. It's sometimes dancey, sometimes weirdly timed, but always interesting. Check this out.

Al could you post the Bullshit Authority and Tonight We Ride Demos? Both ruled so hard and I can't find either.
